Meet Foy Vance…

Since his first album in 2007, Foy’s music has been known and loved all over the world and alongside selling-out his own tours the last decade has played alongside some of the greatest musicians alive including Ed Sheeran, Elton John and Alicia Keys.

But in November 2017, something unusual happened. Foy walked off stage after playing the Union Chapel in London without having another gig lined up in the diary for the first time in 20 years.

During the last two years, Foy has “clocked in like a miner, Monday-Friday” into his studio to carve out time and space to create new music.

We caught up with Foy, very early one morning just at the very end of this chapter of life as he was just coming off the boat to play Ward Park back in May.

Not only has Foy just announced a new worldwide tour, but also three new albums, the first one “From Muscle Shoals” just rolling out there on 28th June.

In this very raw conversation, we had with Foy today we talk about what it means to wake-up, the importance of play when it comes to making music and why it is essential to stop and listen.

This was a once in a lifetime conversation and I’m so chuffed to be able to share it with you all today and know for a fact it’s gonna blow you away, because it certainly did for me.

Alright. Here we go.
